This place location is perfect if you go to universal. The rooms are clean all the time. Maria and octavio at the breakfast are fabulous persons. The atmosphere’s is insane and the value is so good

Positive: The heated pool was great and the beds were very comfy. the front desk was very helpful and was very pleasant. Negative: Bathroom shower could use a stronger flow and the ac unit was a bit noisy.

I’ve stayed at Best Western Gateway Hotel three times now, and every time I visit Orlando, this is my first choice. The experience has always been excellent. Here are the reasons I keep coming back: * The rooms are always clean, spacious, and very well maintained. * The hotel offers great value for money with good-quality amenities. * The location is perfect—very close to Universal Orlando and many restaurants and stores. * The free shuttle service to Universal is extremely convenient and makes getting to the parks hassle-free. * The entire staff is friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. A special thank you to Luciana, who made every stay even better. She is incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely cares about the guests. She always goes above and beyond to help with any request and makes you feel truly welcome. Excellent customer service like hers is one of the main reasons I keep returning. I brought my family here on a summer vacation. I came across this location through Amex Travel. I couldn’t be any more glad with my decision to book here. It’s in the best location possible, minutes within universal and not too far from Disney. From the moment I checked in, the staff have been friendly and attentive to my requests. I’d like to make a special shoutout to Ivo, who really made check-in the best experience possible. He took his time to go over the resort map and reviewed the shuttle times with me. Plus, they were kind enough to upgrade our room. I’m traveling with a little one and they provide complimentary cribs. Excellent resort for an excellent price!

I think this hotel is getting far higher reviews than it deserves. I'll keep it brief. The positives are clearly the location, and the staff are friendly. - Toilets that block and leak from what can only be described as fair usage. With no plunger in sight I had to use towels and leave them a problem on check out. Quite an embarrassing experience and not something I'd wish on anyone. - Bathroom floor, bath and sink were dirty on arrival. I used the towels and soap to clean up. - A/C looks like it's from 1987. Sounds like it's from 1974. - The doors connecting each room let far too much sound through. I could hear the TV from the adjacent room very loudly from 3/4am. - No main light in the room. Just a load of annoying lamps - Extortionate hotel shop. A bottle of water cost me $7.99. Not even an exaggeration. - Very poor hotel restaurant. Should have realised that by seeing it had no customers on our first night. While I'm writing this I would also say that the bed is comfortable. The view if you're staying at the front of the building is also nice.

Great place to stay! As annual pass holders at Universal we travel to Orlando regularly and have always had a great experience at the BW! The staff are amazing! They are professional and polite and very accommodating! They go out of their way to make sure you have the best stay possible which when travelling with kids means the world! Rooms and clean and nice. Location is amazing for Universal and other attractions too! Definitely recommend staying here!

My family and I stayed at this Best Western for a few days while we were on vacation. Everything was good but there could be some improvements. The AC unit was not circulating properly and the air would be warm at times. We were unable to make calls from the room phone to the front desk. So we used our cell phones or walked to the lobby. Also, I inquired about the shuttle schedule for the parks and realized that you have to sign up early in the day prior to departure. It would be great if they offered multiple signups throughout the day. We met some kind staff members that helped us during our visit especially Ms. Carol. She was very kind, helpful, and willing to go above and beyond! Thank you very much. We need more people like her 💗 Other staff to recognize: Dariela
